  • How do you request maintenance or report a problem?

To request maintenance or report an issue, create a ticket by sending an email to support@corners1.odoo.com. Please describe the problem as precisely as you can, and attach pictures. This ensures that the problem is addressed efficiently.

  • Where should used glass bottles be disposed of?

Used glass bottles should be placed in the closest public glass recycling container (find it here). Please do not dispose of them in regular trash bins or other recycling containers.

  • What should you do if you lose your key or access badge?

If you lose your key or access badge, you must report it immediately to Corners by creating a ticket (send an email to support@corners1.odoo.com). This ensures the security of the house and allows us to provide you with a replacement as soon as possible.

  • Until what time can noise be made without disturbing housemates?

To respect everyone’s comfort, noise should be kept to a reasonable level after 10 PM. Additionally, loud noises during regular working hours should be avoided, as many residents work remotely and need to concentrate. This helps ensure a peaceful living environment for all residents.

  • Can you organize a party at Corners?

Large parties are not allowed at Corners. However, small gatherings may be possible if all housemates agree beforehand and the event remains respectful to others.

  • What is the main rule regarding the fridge?

Each resident has their designated space in the fridge, and it is important to respect these areas. Please do not take food that does not belong to you. 

  • When should the trash be taken out?

Trash should be taken out the evening before the scheduled collection day (find it here). This helps maintain cleanliness and prevents overflowing bins.

  • How should waste be sorted?

Cardboard and paper waste must be placed in the yellow bags or in a cardboard box, provided that on collection day, it is properly secured to prevent it from being blown away by the wind. Plastic packaging, metal, and drink cartons should be disposed of in the blue bin. Food waste belongs in the orange bin, which is for composting. All other waste should go into the white bags. Additionally, specific waste like textiles, batteries, light bulbs, medicines, and electrical plugs must be disposed of in their designated containers.   • What happens if a house issue is not reported?

If an issue in the house is not reported, and it worsens over time, the responsible tenant may have to cover the repair costs. It’s always best to report problems as soon as they arise.

  • Can you switch room/house?

Room or house exchanges are possible but must first be approved by Corners. Please contact us by email before making any arrangements. Please note that a room/house change will be considered a check-out and the related fees (€120) will be apply. 

  • What should a tenant do if they want to leave before their lease ends?

The departure date provided at the time of signing the contract is considered indicative only. Tenants must send an official termination email at least two full months in advance (this notice period starts from the first day of the month following the notification). If the departure occurs within the first year of the lease, the tenant must assist in finding a replacement who must be approved by Corners.

  • Is smoking allowed inside the house?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. If you need to smoke, please do so outside to maintain a clean and healthy living space.

  • How does the heating system work in the house?

The heating is programmed to operate at specific times to ensure energy efficiency and comfort. It is not on 24/7, so please be mindful of usage.

  • What happens if a tenant does not pay their rent on time?

Late rent payments will result in a €50 fine and may accrue additional late fees as mentioned on the rental lease agreement. Timely payment ensures the smooth operation of the coliving space.

  • What is the guest policy?

Guests are allowed to stay for a maximum of three consecutive nights and up to seven nights per month. If you expect visitors, please ensure they respect house rules.

  • What should you do if you notice an issue with your room upon arrival?

If you find any issues with your room when you move in, report them to Corners within the first week via our form online or by creating a ticket. This allows us to address the problem promptly.

  • Can personal belongings be stored in common areas?

No, personal items should not be stored in shared spaces. Only designated storage areas should be used to keep common areas organized.

  • How can a tenant get their security deposit back?

The security deposit is refunded within two months after departure, provided there are no outstanding charges or damages.

  • Where can bicycles be stored?

Bicycles should be stored in the designated bike storage area. Please do not leave them in common spaces or in front of the entrance.

  • What is the recommended attitude in a Corners coliving space?

Respect and inclusivity are key values at Corners. Residents should maintain a considerate and communal mindset to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

  • How can a tenant request a cleaning service for their room?

Room cleaning is not included in the rent. However, tenants can request a cleaning service by emailing Corners and paying a €20 fee.
